The Best of the Specialties event was held after best in show on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Twenty-eight breed clubs held specialties with Erie Shores Kennel Club and provided a lineup of very beautiful dogs who competed for the title of Best of the Specialties 2016. MJN Show Services donated the rosette and $1,500 was donated by the Entry Line, Erie Shores Kennel Club and Eukanuba. Thank you to all the exhibitors and the spectators who made this event such a success.
The judge in 2016 was Mr. James Moses from Missouri. Judge Moses examined each dog very thoroughly and the eventual winner was the beautiful, black standard poodle, GCH AFTERGLOW MAVERICK SABRE, bred by Michael Gadsby & Jason Lynn, and expertly presented and handled by Allison Foley, CPHA for owner Mrs. I. Biondi De Ciabatti.
